EUPROTEIN has developed and validated the secreted form of the CREG1 protein. This high-quality protein might be applied in basic research of CREG-related cellular proliferation, as well as studies of disease mechanisms. Just $99 for 100ug
Cellular repressor of E1A-stimulated genes 1 (CREG) is a secreted glycoprotein that inhibits proliferation and enhances differentiation of human embryonal carcinoma cells. Since both the adenovirus E1A protein and transcriptional activation by E2F function to promote cellular proliferation, it is suggested that CREG activity may contribute to transcriptional control of cell growth and differentiation. Among its related pathways are Innate Immune System and Senescence and Autophagy in Cancer.
CREG is widely expressed in adult tissues, such as the brain, heart, lungs, liver, intestines and kidneys in mice, but is not markedly expressed in pluripotent embryonic stem cells.
Studies have revealed that CREG inhibits cell growth dependent on the M6P/IGF2R and suggested that interactions between CREG and a well-characterized tumor suppressor may contribute to the regulation of proliferation and differentiation in multiple lineages. Cross-reactivity between antigens of the HLA-B7 cross-reactive group (B7 CREG) was investigated by the serological analysis of 60 “broad” cytotoxic HLA antisera produces by pregnancy alone, the HLA typing of antiserum donors and the identification of their immunizing antigens. There may be a significant potential advantage of prospective Class I CREG over A, B matching for first cadaver kidney transplantation.
